The 5pm blog and the 3am girls don’t have much in common but nonetheless here’s the gossip from the catering frontline:
We hear that the Dining Room on Glasgow’s Bath Street will shut next week and rumour has it that it will become a Spanish tapas place. Chef Jim Kerr is said to be opening his own restaurant. We’ll update when we know more.
Cafe Ruby by the King’s Theatre in Edinburgh has replaced the short-lived Caffe Verde.
The Hyde Out style bar at Edinburgh Quay has had its launch put back until November.
