There's no show without Punch

Running until Monday, the Ideal Home Show Scotland is now underway at the SECC in Glasgow.

It’s the only place to be this weekend if you want interior decor ideas or tips on how to make your garden bloom.

The show also caters very well for those of us whose lives are governed by our stomachs.

The Ideal Food and Housewares section of the show features the Celebrity Chef Theatre with slebs such as Jean Christophe Novelli, John Burton Race and Aldo Zilli bashing the pans for their audience.

There is also plenty of homegrown talent on display. Jacqueline O’Donnell of The Sisters is hosting the theatre and Derek Donaldson, head chef at Cameron’s Restaurant in Glasgow’s Hilton, is running his Cameron’s Cookery Experience.

Should you miss Donaldson’s cookery demo at the Ideal Home Show then it runs on a monthly basis at the Hilton. We have more info and booking forms here.

All this talk of grub makes you feel peckish? Then you might want to head to the Gregg Wallace Cafe which has popped up for the duration of the show. Classic British recipes are the order of the day.

If you are planning a trip to the show at some point over the weekend then you might want to take a look at the special Ideal Home Show Big Deals which we are running.
