No pics for this post as I don’t want to put you off your lunch but you might want to look at the Food for Louis YouTube channel in which Londoner Louis Cole eats lots animals which most of wouldn’t wish to consider as food. It won’t help the more squeamish that many of them are still alive when Louis starts chewing.
People doing odd things to try to grab your attention on YouTube is, obviously, nothing new but it appears that there may be more to Louis’ bizarre gastro challenges than a simple desire to shock.
This Guardian interview looks at Louis’ underlying motives for eating live tarantulas, ragworms and lizards. I’m not sure that I’m convinced but it’s a good read.
