The North Bridge Brasserie at The Scotsman Hotel is doing its bit to banish the start of the week blues by launching their Monday Supper Club.

Available every Monday evening, 5.30pm-7pm,  it is a special three course menu with a glass of wine for £25 per person. Designed by Executive Head Chef Paul Hart, it will change weekly. The sample menu below will give you an idea of what it’s about.

The North Bridge Brasserie is also running a 5pm 2 for 1 main course offer on the a la carte menu. The full details are here.

Sample menu:

Warm courgette and thyme mousse with a Parmesan sauce and courgette flower fritters

Loch Lomond Arctic charr poached in Summer Harvest Perthshire rapeseed oil, with a warm salad of Ayrshire new potatoes, grilled leeks and a mint hollandaise sauce

Baby spinach and almond soup with marinated feta cheese

8oz flat iron steak topped with the Scotsman’s famous Auld Reekie whisky and smoked cheese sauce served with chunky chips and grilled Portobello mushrooms

Globe artichoke and lemon thyme risotto with broccoli and parmesan

St Mungo’s beer battered fish of the day served with chunky chips and homemade tartare sauce
