][1]The 5pm blog was invited to the launch of the new Rox jewellery store in Edinburgh a couple of weeks back. We couldn’t make it and, especially since seeing these bling pics, we’ve been regretting it ever since.
Champagne bar
Why would the 5pm blog be writing about jewellery shops, you ask? Only ‘cos the shop has a whopping great Champagne bar in it.
As part of its new store in the refurbished Assembly Rooms, Rox has built a Thrill Room which comes complete with its own Laurent- Perrier Champagne Bar.
Diamonds
Fair enough. If I was forking out several grand for a posh watch or a massive diamond then I would probably want a glass of Champagne to steady my nerves.
Unfortunately, the blog’s budget is more Marks and Sparks than multi-carat sparklers.
A Laurent-Perrier Champagne Bar might not be appropriate but do you think that Markies might install a beer vending machine next to their range of blokes’ socks and pants?
