5pm HQ is based in Glasgow City Centre so we’ve got plenty of options! We asked around the office to see if the staff had any favourites.

urban-brasserie-exterior-websize

“Urban Bar & Brasserie is my favourite restaurant in Glasgow City Centre. The service is first class, the food in tasty, I love the basil marinated breast of chicken with fettucine and sunblushed tomato cream. Also, it’s quite spacious so no one sits too close to your table! “

Maureen, Marketing Executive

La Boca

“La Boca on Hope Street is a fab tapas restaurant. The owner used to live in Spain and has put lots of effort into making every detail of the restaurant as authentic as possible – you won’t find any element of the restaurant that isn’t like it is in Spain. My friend who lives in Madrid confirmed it is the real thing. The tapas dishes are delicious and the 5pm offers are amazing value for money.”

Antipasti

“Antipasti is my favourite restaurant in Glasgow city centre. The food is good, the staff are really nice and the Prosecco is delicious too. It’s in a really central location and I often go there before going to gigs at the O2 ABC.”

Dakhin

“Dakhin has a great selection of South Indian food including their famous Dosa. I always find the location in merchant City to be perfect before a concert in the City Halls or a gig at the Barrowlands or Saint Lukes. If you get a window seat it is ideal for people watching, especially on a Saturday night! They also do a great 50% discount offer on 5pm!”

Nikki Andrew, Senior Business Development Manager

Rogano 032

“I love Rogano as it’s got such a unique atmosphere and history. I’m a big seafood fan and I’ve never been disappointed by any of their dishes. I particularly love the provincial mussels.”

Jen, Head Creative

“Slouch is great. It’s just a good pub with friendly staff and good music. It’s comfortable place to chill out in and the food is just quality pub grub. There are two menus so you can get something more substantial or just some snacks depending on how hungry you are. I eat gluten and dairy free and they have a good few options; decent salads, chicken wings, etc. Sometimes getting gluten/dairy free bar food can be tough.”
