Brian Maule is one of the most highly regarded chefs in Glasgow.

With eleven years working for the famous Roux brothers at their London Restaurant Le Gavroche, where Gordon Ramsay also did a stint, it’s fair to say he knows a thing or two about food.

His Glasgow restaurant Chardon D’Or, situated in an elegant townhouse in West Regent Street, is adored by critics and customers alike, and is currently sitting at an average of 4.5 stars from 454 reviews on 5pm.co.uk, with review snippets including “easily the best food in Glasgow,” and “fine dining at its best.”

Having Brian cook your Christmas dinner would be pretty much the best present Santa could bring but failing this, we deciding to ask him his number one tip for preparing Christmas dinner, as well as his favourite Christmas traditions.
