Looking to impress your Valentine’s this February 14th? We’ve lined up some of the best Valentine’s restaurants in Glasgow on 5pm Dining – take a look at our picks below.

Cail Bruich West

If you’re thinking of heading to Glasgow’s West End for a romantic meal, you have to consider Cail Bruich on Great Western Road, an intimate venue with top reviews on 5pm Dining such as this one from Norman Maciver:

“Food was faultless Michelin star quality and great value. Each course was a work of art, I highly recommend this restaurant as one of, if not Glasgow’s best restaurant.

They’re offering diners a five course Valentine’s tasting menu for £49. Cail Bruich’s five courses are a whirlwind of local produce: from pigeon to a scallop followed by a skate wing and duck finishing up with chocolate cremeux (see the full menu here).

We visited them last year and watched chef owner Chris Charalambous cook seasonal Scottish lamb – check it out below.

Central Market

Recently joining 5pm Dining is Central Market, which incidentally makes a great option for bistro style Valentine’s dining. The cafe restaurant has an AA Rosette for it’s food as well as being mentioned in the Michelin guide.

For Valentine’s Day they’ve got a delicious four course menu inspired by different cuisines plus each course is paired with a glass of wine for £50.

The third course sounds particularly tasty; Cote du boeuf, house salad and french fries with chimichuri or bernaise sauce and paired with a glass of Argentinian Malbec.

To put you and your Valentine ‘in the mood’ the aptly named Kama Sutra on Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street is a spicy way to spend your Valentine’s night.

And their Valentine’s menu has equally aptly named dishes; evocative Indian vegetable masala, bewitching karahi bhoona and lover’s chicken korma.
