Easter is a vastly underrated holiday. It involves a three day weekend, the opportunity to eat lots of chocolate, sunny spring weather (usually) and the chance to catch up with family and friends over a good meal.

Many of the restaurants in Glasgow on 5pm have menus and offers tailored specially for Easter Sunday. Here’s our picks of easter weekend dining options in Glasgow.

Corinthian Club

Based in the heart of Glasgow’s “style mile” Amarone serves a range of Italian favourites and their Easter menu is offers a wide variety of pizza, pasta and meat dishes. Mains include stone baked pizza with tomato, mozzarella, rosemary sautéed potato, onion and cherry tomatoes, and tagliolini pasta with sautéed pancetta in a carbonara sauce topped with fresh rocket. There is also an outdoor seating area if the weather is good.

A chic restaurant in the affluent suburb of Milngavie, Andiamo serves Italian food to locals and visitors alike. Their Easter menu includes a mouthwatering selection of dishes such as butter-flied supreme of chicken topped with basil, egg plant and mozzarella, cooked in a light tomato sauce and served with spring vegetables and potatoes, and traditional bake with large egg pasta sheets alternated with grilled vegetables, béchamel sauce, grated mozzarella and basil, served with a mixed salad.

The Mariner Bar & Restaurant
