Las Iguanas

A fun Latin American restaurant and bar on Glasgow city centre’s West Nile Street, Las Iguanas has dishes from Mexico to Brazil via Argentina, such as tapas, peri peri chicken, enchiladas and the Brazilian xinxim – chicken and crayfish in a creamy lime and peanut sauce. The large patio windows are great for people watching and during the warmer months the windows are opened out and tables are set on the pavement.

£8.90 for 2 courses on lunch menu + drink at Las Iguanas on 5pm Dining.

Juice Garden Byres Road

“Healthy is the new sexy” says Juice Garden in Byres Road in Glasgow West End’s  Their menu is packed with dishes that have all of the taste and none of the guilt such as grilled chicken plated with mixed green veg and herbed sweet potato mash, as well as roasted garlic and quinoa tossed with kale, baby spinach, seeds, nuts and pomegranate pips.

£10 for 2 courses on chef’s choice menu at Juice Garden Byres Road on 5pm Dining.

The Atelier

With a stripped back simple decor, The Atelier in Edinburgh’s Haymarket lets its menu do all the talking and what a lot of talking it does. The award winning restaurant serves innovative creations that change with the seasons such as octopus bourguignon served with crispy ox tail, or desserts such as coconut panna cotta, caramelised pineapple, banana marshmallow with apricot sorbet.

£15.50 for 2 courses on pre-theatre menu at The Atelier on 5pm Dining.
