Copper Blossom has bloomed on George Street.

It’s a busy old week for new Edinburgh bars and restaurants.

As we mentioned earlier, The Leith Chop House opens tomorrow on Constitution Street. Top notch steaks cooked over charcoal are the star attraction.

This weekend will also see the relaunch of Tigerlily after a £500,000 revamp. The George Street hotel, bar and restaurant originally launched in 2006. All being well, we will have more info on Monday.

Just along the road, the Speratus Group have opened Copper Blossom. The company’s Garreth Wood explained that the bar is to be a female-friendly offering which will ‘fuse locally, sourced, seasonal and specially selected ingredients from all over Scotland’ while the cocktails are ‘classic drinks recipes fused with cutting edge technology and techniques’.
