Edinburgh is a beautiful city all year round but it really comes alive at Christmas. From the ice rink at St Andrews Square to the Festival Wheel by the castle, the German market at the Mound and Santa Land in Princes Street Gardens, there are loads of magical things to see and do. Our restaurants in Edinburgh have Christmas offers available just for the festive season so you can dine out and enjoy the atmosphere. Check out a selection below.

Cucina – G&V Royal Mile Hotel

Those with a sweet tooth can opt for either British classic (Christmas pudding) or Italian (a selection of Cucina’s home made ice cream). Twenty Princes Street

Twenty Princes Street looks out over central Edinburgh

With fantastic view over the city centre to the castle, Twenty Princes Street is the perfect spot to enjoy Edinburgh’s Christmas lights. Their Festive menu features traditional favourites that utilise local produce, such as ballotine of turkey with apricot and tarragon stuffing, chipolatas in bacon, goose fat roasted potatoes, glazed vegetables and port jus, as well as eight ounce borders ribeye steak cooked on the Josper grill served with slow roasted tomato, triple-cooked chips and red chard. We think their veggie main looks particularly interesting too – lentil, mushroom and chestnut roast with vine cherry tomatoes, crispy shallots, a sherry and pickled walnut sauce. For a chef demo from Twenty Princes Street check out this video.

£37.50 for 3 courses on the Festive Dinner Menu (£27.50 from lunch menu) at Twenty Princes Street on 5pm Dining.
