The Brasserie at Corinthian has a special Burns menu.

Starting this weekend and continuing through to Burns Night on Monday, lots of 5pm restaurants in Glasgow are hosting special events to celebrate the life and art of the Bard.

If you’ve still to decide where you’re going to fill your sonsie face then here are some suggestions to help you get into the spirit of things:

Corinthian Club will be celebrating the life and works of Robert Burns with a special Burns menu in their brasserie bar along with their Whisky Experience menu for those looking for a dram with their dinner.

Wee Jock’s Big Braw Scottish Night

At 29 The Grill at the Square, diners are invited to enjoy a three course Burns Supper along with entertainment from Wee Jock’s Big Braw Scottish Night.

Visitors can look forward to hearing the works of Burns colliding with contemporary Scottish humour, songs, hilarious poems, competitions, sketches and more.

Oran Mor always hosts an atmospheric Burns Night supper in Glasgow, with this year’s celebration taking place on Saturday 23 January, in the stunning Auditorium of the converted church.

Hosted by Iain Robertson, the three course feast will be accompanied by poetry and traditional music.

Head to The Pipers’ Tryst at The National Piping Centre over Burns weekend from the 22-25 January for a special menu ‘celebrating the life, times and genius of the great man’. The menu includes a dram to start followed by haggis and other Scottish favourites.

Live music

If you’re looking for somewhere for supper on Burns Night itself, then Arisaig will happily oblige.

The Merchant Square restaurant and bar throws an epic feast each year, with a delicious dinner, live Scottish music, and local comedians leading the way.
