Martin WishartGet under the hood of The Honours in Glasgow’s Malmaison and experience the cooking of one of Scotland’s most successful chefs, Martin Wishart.

This new series of events gives diners a 360 degree view of the restaurant with a three course lunch, wine tasting and a chance to see Martin Wishart cooking in the restaurant’s kitchen, a must for any food fan. 5pm had the pleasure of this foodie experience recently.

Martin WishartMartin cooked gnocchi and crab linguini and chatted about his restaurants, the produce he uses with each season and how he marries flavours in his food.

Following this, the head sommelier gave us a wine tasting with three complementary wines to the dishes for the meal ahead.

Then the bit everyone was looking forward to, the meal; a smoked salmon starter, Donald Russell rib-eye main and a chocolate mousse to finish.

It was a memorable experience and a fantastic opportunity to get into the kitchens of one of Glasgow’s top restaurants.
