We are into the final week of Edinburgh’s August festivals and, as always, the Virgin Money Fireworks will draw everything to a close with a bang on Monday 29th August.
If you want to make the evening particularly memorable, then you may want to take a look at the Festival fireworks dinner taking place at The Pompadour by Galvin in Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian.
Executive Chef Fraser Allan has developed a five course bespoke tasting menu. The evening starts at 6pm so that all guests will have plenty of time to eat before taking their seats for the concert at Princes Street Gardens.
Watch the fireworks
Guests without tickets for the concert are welcome to watch the display from the hotel’s castle-facing windows.
The evening begins at 6pm with Champagne and canapés on arrival, followed by dinner at 6.30pm.
Champagne and canapés are included in the menu price of £95, with the option of including matched wines for £50.
