“Had a lovely family lunch. First time visiting. The waiter was lovely very friendly and helpful. The food was nice and we enjoyed the open fire. Will definitely be back. Also, you can take your dog.“

“I had the pulled pork quesadilla as a started and I recommend everybody to try it, this was proper foodgasm. Philly Cheese steak was excellent as well, I would not have picked a brioche bun with it but we had a great experience as usual.“

Lovely atmosphere
“Had a wee Sunday lunch here 12.95 for 2 courses with a free glass of wine as we had booked through 5.pm. We had garlic prawns and chicken strips to start. Then pasta and fish and chips for main . All really nice with good portions . As this is right in Merchant Square it has a lovely atmosphere . The service was fab to start with then our waiter must have finished as we struggled to get the waitress attention to get the bill but paid at the counter in the end . We will be back.“

Pianist
“Booked for a meal before a show at the Kings. Delicious food. Fish and chips were fantastic – lovely fresh, crispy battered fish with chunky wedge style chips and creamy tartare sauce. Sticky toffee pudding was also excellent. Staff were friendly and service was quick – we had time to spare. We thoroughly enjoyed the playing of the pianist which was a lovely bonus. A great start to our evening, would highly recommend.“
