“Squint and the broad avenues and tenements really could be Manhattan’s Lower East Side” said The Guardian last year about Glasgow’s South Side. For years south of the Clyde has been creeping up behind the west end to steal its crown as Glasgow’s most happening neck of the woods and there’s a definite argument to say it now has. Contributing to the area’s vibrant social scene is its wealth of restaurants options: here’s the Glasgow southside restaurants which are taking part in our £12 dining sale.
