“Five of us went for the 2 for 29 deal. What terrific value! The starters were all lovely (soup, haggis bonbons and mediterranean vegetables with halloumi). We all particularly enjoyed the lovely fresh bread loaf that was cut in front of us. Yummy. Main courses were great too (the fishcake and the beef pie). It doesn’t look a huge amount on the plate but is actually very filling and we all agreed we were glad we didn’t order any sides! The wine included in the deal was very palatable. We added coffee to follow, which came with shortbread and tablet. More yummy!! Service was attentive without being intrusive – nice and discreet. Altogether a lovely lunch which we all enjoyed very much.”

“I absolutely love it here. Been coming for many years now and plan to keep doing the same. The food is great and enjoy the menu variations from time to time. Last night our server Rob, was just something else. I must say I’ve never experienced a member of the staff quite like him. He’s very friendly and helpful as well as a hoot. People like that make customers become regulars. Looking forward to my next visit. Disappointed creme brûlée wasn’t on offer this time though.”

“My friend and I booked the 2 for 29 deal, which is 2 starters, 2 main courses and a bottle of house wine, all for £29. We are both on Gluten Free diets and this didn’t pose any problems. My friend had soup to start whilst I had pate. We both opted for fish as a main course and all the food was delicious. Washed down with a splendid Sangiovese, all in all, an excellent dining experience. The staff were top notch as well. We will be back again soon.”
