Two Fat Ladies at The Buttery is celebrating its tenth year.

Two Fat Ladies at The Buttery and In The City have launched new menus.

The new year means new menus at two of the much loved Two Fat Ladies restaurants in Glasgow.

Billed as ‘deliciously decadent’, the a la carte menu at The Buttery includes seasonal starters such as the salad of char grilled shallots, beetroot and apple plus honey whipped goat’s cheese.

With Burns night just passed, we also have an eye on the flash-fried West Coast scallops with Macsween haggis and crispy maple bacon.

Wide choice of meat and seafood dishes

The Two Fat Ladies restaurants were always known for serving great fish dishes. But they are no slouches when it comes to more carnivorous options.

As the latest menu underlines. Of the six main course options, three are fish and three are meat. Fish choices include grilled whole lemon sole with sun blush tomato and tarragon butter, toasted pine nuts and  saffron potatoes.

The meat options include a Scottish beef fillet – you’ve always got to have a steak on a menu – plus the roast supreme of guinea fowl with roast parsnips and parsnip purée, apple compote and garlic flavoured jus.
