A celebration of Scotland’s fantastic dining scene, Dine Out Scotland features a wide array of restaurants that underline the diversity of the country's culinary landscape.

All offer a two or three course meal for £15.95 and some even include a drink.

If you fancied a little Italian flair, you could book into Da Luciano in Bothwell. £15.95 will see you tucking into two courses with a glass of Prosecco.

In Giffnock, the family-run Ian Brown Restaurant offers three courses and a glass of fizz for £15.95.

We would start with the marinated beef strips with a dry roasted peanut salad. Probably followed by coley Thermidor with chips and salad.

Of course, Scotland's seafood is much sought after all around the world. And you can net yourself a fine catch with Dine Out Scotland.

At Two Fat Ladies in the city centre, you could sit down to two courses from the lunch/pre-theatre menu plus a glass of wine for £15.95

Cafe Rogano offers two courses from their Eat the Seasons menu. We're torn between the pan-seared sea trout with crab-crushed potatoes and tempura king prawns or the whole plaice meunière with toasted almonds.

In the West End, the much loved Epicures is dishing up three courses on the pre-theatre menu for... yup, you guessed it, £15.95.

Dine your way around Scotland for only £15.95

The Dine Out Scotland restaurants are spread across the Central Belt.

Jeremy Wares Restaurant @ Macdonald Houstoun House, near Livingstone, is part of the promotion.

They are offering afternoon tea comprising a selection of traditional finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones with Devonshire clotted cream. Naturally, they are joined by assorted, fine pastries and cakes.

Yesterday, we mentioned Taisteal, Metro Brasserie Grassmarket – Apex and Cadiz, all in Edinburgh.

We could also mention Restaurant at the Bonham and Montpeliers.

At the Bonham, you can book in for two courses on the market menu. The menu changes regularly. However, typical main courses might be the chicken breast with roasted cauliflower and asparagus fricassee or the South Asian curry made with coley and prawns.

In Bruntsfield, Montpeliers is offering two courses from the lunch menu with a drink and tea or coffee for £15.95.

We're feeling adventurous so would probably kick off with the chicken and enoki mushroom spring roll.

To follow, we can't see past the breaded haddock with hand-cut chips, tartare sauce and pea purée.

The offers are all live now and you can browse and book from the Dine Out Scotland page.

You’ll have the peace of mind knowing that your dining experience is going to be great. Each restaurant taking part in Dine Out Scotland boasts excellent reviews from 5pm diners.
