Annabel's Restaurant Boclair House hotel houses the Art Nouvea-style Annabel's Restaurant. Annabel’s Restaurant in Boclair House hotel has just joined 5pm Dining.

Part of the Manorview group of hotels, the impressive Bearsden building opened in 2016 after a thoughtful £3 million refurbishment.

With its beautiful landscaped gardens and sweeping vistas, the hotel looks magnificent and Annabel’s Restaurant is just as plush.

The interior has been decked out in a gorgeous, opulent, Art Nouveau style.

Red velvet seating, vintage decor touches and soft ambient lighting all add to the elegant atmosphere. Imagine turn-of-the-century Parisian bar meets Victorian gentleman’s library and you get the picture.

Big Deal for two

You could give it all a spin with the Big Deal we currently have with Annabel's.

This £15 deal is for a main course for two from Annabel’s table d’hôte menu plus a small glass of wine each.

Dishes shift with the seasons, but sample main courses might be the pork fillet with mash potato and black pudding bon bon; the pan seared duck with celeriac fondant, root vegetables and jus or the wild mushroom risotto with truffle cream.

The offer is valid for bookings from noon – last bookings from Monday to Thursday are 4.30pm, with last bookings on a Friday at 3pm. The offer runs until the end of September.

This is the ideal destination for an intimate date or tasteful celebration with friends.

The restaurant is on Milngavie Road, a five minute walk from Hillfoot train station. If you are driving then there is free parking for up to two hours at Douglas Place, a ten minute walk away.
