Our Big Summer Dine Out is almost over. This means that it's almost time to wave it off tearfully with a hanky as it sails across the horizon. Still, at least you enjoyed it while it was here. That's the main thing.

What's that you say — you didn't enjoy it while it was here? You didn't snatch up a single dining deal? You didn't sit laughing in a fabulous restaurant with your favourite person, surrounded by candlelight, wine and music?

Never fear, there's still time — but only just. We've put together a selection of some of the best dining deals for you to enjoy between now and this Sunday 29th July...

Glasgow dine out deals

We dare your taste buds not to tingle at these city centre dining deals. If you are craving a South East Asian feast, then Thai Orchid is offering two people three courses each from the set menu for £39. And if contemporary European tickles your fancy, then let Darcy’s tempt you with a three-course meal from the market menu for £14.50.

Italian food lovers won't go hungry either, as Verona has a two-person offer for two courses from the lunch and pre-theatre menu, plus the perk of a bottle of wine to share. And if French fare is more your bag, then Glasgow favourite, La Bonne Auberge, is offering two people two prix fixe menu courses each for £29.

If traditional Scottish cuisine in stylish surroundings sounds good to you, then snatch up this two-person deal for two courses plus a carafe of wine from 29 — The Grill At The Square. The tartan pride continues at Cafe Source @ St Andrews in the Square, which is also offering two courses for two from the summer dine around menu.

Last but not least, chic Merchant City cocktail bar & restaurant, Metropolitan, is beckoning you over with two courses for two people and a bottle of wine to share for £29.

Edinburgh dine out deals

In Edinburgh, you can enjoy dine out deals all over the city. In the city centre, Bisque Brasserie is offering two set menu courses of globally influenced British cuisine for £14.50. While in Tollcross, The Everest Nepalese & Indian Restaurant is offering two people two courses and a side dish each from the a la carte menu, washed down nicely with a bottle of wine to share.

In Old Town, we have no less than three choices, the first two also being Indian and Nepalese — Ginger Restaurant is tempting you with two courses from the set menu plus your choice of beer or wine for £14.50, while Namaste Kathmandu has a two-person deal for three set menu courses each plus a tea or coffee for £39. If you'd prefer tucking into Scottish fare, then Cellar Door is offering two courses plus a small glass of house wine for £19.50.

Fancy some gourmet pub grub? Over in Leith, The Granary are offering two people steak frites and a glass of wine each for £39 — lovely. Finally, if Scottish cuisine with an international twist sounds good to you, then head to Masson House Bistro in Newington to tuck into three courses from the fixed price menu for £19.50.
