This outrageous lie will be tested to breaking point tomorrow evening when Glasgow’s West Brewery, Bar and Restaurant plays host to a trio of New York comedians.
At West they brew and sell beer made according to strict German purity laws, the Reinheitsgebot of 1516. While they take their beer seriously at West, New Yorkers Bernadette Pauley, Marshall Chiles and Danny Lobell are determined to have punters laughing into their hefeweizen or wheat beer.
The gig is part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival which is putting on comedy gigs in several of Glasgow’s bars and restaurants.
