The List’s annual Eating and Drinking Guide is published with the magazine today and it’s a must-buy for anyone who enjoys eating out in Scotland.

Having worked for the magazine and co-edited the Guide in the past, I’m biased towards it but, even taking a neutral view, it’s a remarkable piece of work. Over 800 restaurants, cafes and bars are covered in the latest edition and there are around 120 new places listed.

The Guide was launched with the announcement of the The List Eating and Drinking Awards which are voted for by the public. In Glasgow, the ever popular Stravaigin picked up the Readers’ Award while Tigerlily took the honours in Edinburgh.

The List is in partnership with 5pm which means that you can click through from the mag’s website and book featured restaurants. Happy scoffing.
