Forget biofuels, hybrid engines and LPG cars, Tony Crolla, owner of La Favorita and the Vittoria restaurants, has gone one better with his log-fuelled pizza van. Apparently, Tony was wondering how he could recreate the taste of his restaurant’s pizza at outdoors events when he hit on the idea of installing a one tonne, log-fired pizza oven in a customised van.
