What better way is there to wile away a summer afternoon than re-creating album-cover art in food form? Yeah, I didn’t think so…

Japanese blog Jacket Lunch Box has pages upon pages of food-based replicas, some good and some bad, of albums by everyone from [Metallica][2] to Sigur Ros. My personal favourite is the Aphex Twin one a few pages in, which is impressive, scary and, presumably, tasty in equal measures.

There may well be a grand artistic purpose to the whole exercise, but it’s in Japanese. Oh well.
