Congratulations to the all women cocktail team from The Gate who scooped first, second and third place in the 42BELOW cocktail competition at Metropolitan in Glasgow yesterday. Despite being out numbered three to one by the boys, Ally Turnbull, Roseanne Ross and Meesh Reilly took all the honours and will go forward to represent Glasgow in the national final in February.
The next leg of the competition takes place in Edinburgh’s Voodoo Rooms this afternoon. You can go along to watch the competitors strut their stuff from 2pm and the bar will open at 5pm should you want to taste their concoctions.
