One of the joys of the Festival is spotting celebs wandering around town. Alan Rickman was standing outside the Balmoral Hotel yesterday evening and he has also been seen eating at Annette Sprague’s Redwood restaurant in Stockbridge.
Incidentally, Annette is one of the chefs giving a demo at Foodies. She is doing a masterclass in cooking Californian food on 23 August at 4.30pm. She will be rustling up sesame and spinach salad with cripy rice noodles and a soy and chilli marinated beef with pesto.
