Brian Maule at Glasgow’s Chardon d’Or, is hosting a wine dinner in partnership with L’Art du Vin on Tuesday 1 September. L’Art du Vin director, Richard Bouglet will guide diners through a selection of intriguing wines from small scale producers based in the Languedoc region of France.

Bypassing familiar grapes such as cab sav and pinot noir, the evening will explore lesser known varietals such as Tannat, Negrette, Fer Servadou, Gros and Petit Manseng, and Mauzac.

Including wine to match each of the four courses, the dinner costs £65 a head.
