Whisky heads will be nosing their way towards the Thistle Hotel in Glasgow this Saturday for the annual Whisky Live event.
The event has shrunk a bit from previous years and is now held on just the one day which is split into two sessions with the first beginning at noon.
Tasting the whiskies from the world’s finest distillers and bottlers will be top of the to do list for most people but there are plenty of other attractions including distiller debates, blending competitions, cocktail demos and a coopering display.
Hardcore malt lovers will be busy booking in for the masterclasses given by some of the industry’s most influential people.
If the malts bring on the munchies then you might want to consider a bite to eat in Annlann, the recently refurbed restaurant in the Thistle.
