Loving this thread on The Word’s website about bands and their food equivalent. Obviously, a lot of them are just straight down the line abuse. It doesn’t take the finest comic mind in the world to equate The Stereophonics with spuds. However, some are rather more thought provoking. The Radiohead and Marmite comparison works for me and you have to chuckle at the wag who suggested that Black Pudding is the culinary equivalent of Black Sabbath. I also liked the idea that Bono made one contributor think of loaves and fishes.
