Congrats to Glasgow student Emma Johnston who has just scooped a handy £10k for winning the competition to find the next official Britain’s Got Talent pizza. The comp ran as part of Domino’s sponsorship of the talent show.
It might not be the sort of thing she will include on her CV but the moolah will come in handy as Emma is currently working five days a week to pay for her studies. Her winning pizza, beat 38,000 other competitors. Called the Mexican Sizzler, it features chicken fajita slices, crunchy tortillas, green peppers, red peppers and jalapenos with vine-ripened tomato sauce and 100% real mozzarella cheese.
The Mexican Sizzler beat off a British Breakfast pizza from Newhaven and an Asian Feast from Gateshead to scoop the top spot.
Emma’s pizza won’t be available until next year but there is no shortage of 5pm members in Glasgow who can rustle up a lip-smacking pizza. Just type Italian into the cuisine search box of our reservation page and you needn’t be pizza-peckish for long .
