Restaurateurs have to be a canny bunch in order to make themselves stand out and Glasgow’s L’Ariosto have pulled off a blinder by associating themselves with the Beeb’s hugely popular Strictly Come Dancing show.
As Strictly fans will know, the final takes place this weekend with Ricky Whittle and Chris Hollins squaring up to each other on the dance floor. You might imagine that this is bad news for the restaurant trade as potential customers glue themselves to their sofas.
But not so fast. A smart press release from L’Ariosto points out that their dinner dances are going strong and that every week, from Wednesday to Saturday, diners can chow down and then cut a rug on L’Ariosto’s dance floor to the sounds of the house band, Limited Edition.
