Over at the Speccy’s website, Stuart Walton is having a rather bilious rant about the pick ‘n’ mix tendencies of Modern British cooking.

According to Mr Walton, ‘to a depressing degree, every restaurant is producing the same dishes. To peruse menus the length and breadth of the British Isles blah blah . . . . blah is to discover that all Britain’s chefs appear to have been separated at birth — or, at least, read the same trade magazines.’

Methinks he is talking rot but whoever wrote the Rage Against the Tagine headline should get a medal.
