][1]Veteran readers of the 5pm blog will remember our entirely unforced excitement at last year’s Spam Cook of the Year competition.
Well, it’s back and it’s bigger and better than ever. Sort of. If memory serves, last year’s winner gets to go to the forthcoming Waikiki Spam Jam, a SpamFest in Hawaii, as part of their prize.
This year’s winner gets to have a two night stay for two including dinner, breakfast and a spa treatment courtesy of Oxford Hotels and Inns.
I’m sure that a two night stay at an Oxford Hotel will be lovely but it’s not exactly surfing in Hawaii is it?
Anyway, if you still want to get creative with the chopped pork and ham foodstuff then this is where you apply.
