It’s been quite busy over the last few days at 5pm Towers, and we’re very excited to welcome 4 (yes, four!) restaurants onto the site!

In Edinburgh, Melrose Restaurant at the Roxburghe Hotel in Charlotte Square has been added to the 5pm site, and offers relaxed dining in a light and airy space. The restaurant also prides itself on using ingredients from from local suppliers whenever they can.

We are also very pleased to welcome 56 North on West Crosscauseway on board. Since it launched 2 years ago in Edinburgh’s southside, it’s proven to be a popular bar and restaurant with modern twists on classic British dishes (made using Fairtrade and local ingredients where possible) and a very tempting selection of cocktails.

Hot on the heels of 56 North, we’re happy to announce that their sister restaurant Koko has also joined the 5pm site. Located on Potterrow in the southside of Edinburgh, it’s a bright and spacious restaurant which offers British food made with the freshest ingredients. Not only does it boast a chilled-out atmosphere, but also a bar stocked with an array of continental beers and cocktails.

The next time we’re in Edinburgh, we’ll be spoiled for choice it seems!

In Glasgow, Universal Bar on Sauchiehall Lane has also been added and promises a seasonal menu featuring home-made Scottish cuisine with a twist. And there’s even some jazz & blues music on Monday evenings and traditional Celtic music on Thursday evenings to enjoy whether you’re dining or just relaxing with a drink.
