][1]Next week is National BBQ Week and, while I’m not burning my umbrella and wellies just yet, it looks as though the good weather might just hold on.
What I’m looking for is your suggestions for the best pub/restaurants that hold their own BBQs.
Cottier’s in Glasgow’s West End usually fires up a barbie during the summer months and I think I’m right in suggesting that Chinaski’s on North Street, the sister bar to the adjacent Black Sparrow, sometimes does as well?
The Outhouse, just off Broughton Street in Edinburgh, is having a hog roast on Sunday and, just over the garden wall, it’s neighbour, Hawke and Hunter holds regular Friday BBQs in its Secret Garden.
Of course, if the weather doesn’t hold then the Khublai Khan Mongolian BBQs in Glasgow and Edinburgh offer an alternative.
Any other suggestions? Where do you go when you fancy a banger in the great outdoors?
