It’s a simple looking affair which is halfway between a takeaway and a canteen.
While it might not win any awards for the opulence of its interior design, it seems to have no problems attracting admirers with numerous Facebook friends praising its burritos, tacos and quesadillas.
A few of the commentators reckon that the grub at Los Cardos is better than the Tex Mex that they have eaten in the States.
The team at Los Cardos promise, in as far as is possible, to provide the best quality, sustainable and locally produced food so their hearts are very much in the right place.
Los Cardos joins an already thriving market for Mexican restaurants. In Edinburgh, 5pm members La Cantina and Tex Mex II are dab hands with a chimichanga while in Glasgow Bibi’s and Driftwood can do a mean salsa.
