They are back

The new Sex and the City film is released on Friday 28 May and Scotland’s restaurants and bars have not been slow hitch a ride on the chick flick juggernaut.

In Glasgow, La Bonne Auberge is hosting a Ladies Who Lunch and do Sex and the City special on Sunday 30 May.

In keeping with the lifestyle of Carrie Bradshaw and pals, the lives and loves of the quartet will be toasted (repeatedly) at the Champagne Tasting session which will precede a two course lunch, prepared by La Bonne Auberge’s award winning chef, Gerry Sharkey.

Natch, the event will, of course, also include shopping opportunities with products available from Bustle Lingerie, Rosebud Gifts, Arran aromatic products and other quirky home gifts.

Tickets for the event are priced at £ 22.95, which includes Champagne tasting and two course meal with coffee. For an optional £5 extra, a cinema voucher for neighbouring Cineworld, where the movie will be screened, can be purchased at time of booking.

In Edinburgh, The Living Room on George Street is promising an evening of glamour, cocktails and fashion.

The event takes place on Thursday 10 June, 6.30-8.30pm. Tickets cost £15.
