In Glasgow, Tuscany Square seems to have been replaced by Centro Italiano.
A John Street restaurant in the Merchant City, Tuscany Square was open for around a year. Centro Italiano seems to have more of a focus on tapas.
Naturally, 5pm’s Italian restaurants are well represented in the area with Al Dente, Lombardi’s, Piazza Italia and Qua all within a stone’s throw.
In Edinburgh, a new place has sprung up on Windsor Street.
Classic’s Cuisine serves Indian and continental dishes. They do a lunch time buffet and a pre-theatre menu to try and capture some of the audience from the nearby Playhouse.
They also advertise breakfast which, I suspect, means that Classic’s Cuisine is part of a guest house or hotel.
