Howzabout the Traquair Fair?
It takes place at Traquair House in Innerleithen on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be circus acts, street theatre, millions of kids’ stuff and plenty of food and drink including offerings from the Tweed-Valley Spit Roast who will be cooking up a locally-reared hog roast.
Perhaps one of the fair’s most curious attractions will be that provided by Circo Rum Ba Ba. Their show, Dress Circle, involves a thirteen foot high lady with sumptuously brocaded child bearing hips who will reveal some fairly extraordinary theatrical surprises below her skirts.
