The Grand Central Hotel next to Glasgow’s Central Train station is scheduled to open to the public in mid-September.
The new champagne bar will have one of the best people-watching vantage points in the city as its wraparound windows overlook the concourse at the station.
Judging by the above pic of the new champagne bar, it’s going to look very glam although it does make you wonder why the previous owners covered up the marble floor with a minging peach carpet as shown below.
