The Gourmet Glasgow festival continues to offer up lots of exciting events.

The ever inventive Dragon-i restaurant on Hope Street has a couple of corkers taking place this week and next.

Tomorrow (17 Aug) and next Tuesday (24 Aug), they are running a £12.95 buffet meal under the promise that it is not ‘just another Chinese buffet’.

Since this is the restaurant that dishes up starters such as crispy pancakes rolled with Stornoway black pudding and a Thai Chilli sauce then you can probably rest assured that you are in for something very different.

This coming Friday, the restaurant is also hosting a tutored Timorous Beasties wine tasting with Pete Stewart, the witty wine guy from Inverarity Wines.

The £25 cost of the event includes a three course meal and the tasting.
