][1]Oh alright. I’m exaggerating. The Hairy bikers won’t be at Glasgow’s Cookie restaurant tonight but their production team will be.
They are scouting for participants for the next series of The Hairy Bikers’ Family Cook-Off.
The thirty part, daytime series is scheduled to transmit on BBC2 in the autumn.
Each episode will feature foodie challenges for two teams of families fighting for the title of Britain ‘s Best Cooking Family.
Cookie co-owner, Domenico Del Priore, said, “The format for the new TV show has similarities with our own monthly Chef Wars event, which pits three volunteer cooks – professionals versus professionals and amateurs versus amateurs – against each other by preparing three mains and three puddings to be judged on the night by Cookie customers.
“So if there’s any families out there with a passion for cooking and fancy a spot on prime-time TV, then come on down to Cookie!”
Families interested in appearing on The Hairy Bikers’ Family Cook-off should head to Cookie on Wednesday 11th August after 6.30pm
