Just so you don’t have to hold your breath any longer, here it is: your cut out and keep guide to new 5pm member The Long Way Home.
It’s named after a Tom Waits song. You can listen to it here.
They specialise in gin and currently stock 25 different brands. Many more are expected.
Long Way Home boss Jamie Allan used to manage Cottiers and Brel.
The most exotic gin they stock is Zuidam Genever.
Once a month, Jamie hosts a gin-tasting dinner.
The bar also stocks oodles and oodles of speciality beers.
The food at the Long Way Home prides itself on being cooked from scratch on the premises.
