There is only a week to go before the BBC Good Food Show Scotland gets cooking at the SECC.

The big news is that, for the first time, MasterChef will be part of the programme. Previous winner Dhruv Baker and Lisa Faulkner will be going head to head in a cook off under the watchful eyes of John Torode and Gregg Wallace.

Torode and Wallace will be doing meet and greets and visitors will also have the chance to sample dishes inspired by recipes which have appeared on the telly series.

Uber sleb chefs Gordon Ramsay and James Martin will be appearing in the Supertheatre as will Tom Kitchin of The Kitchin and Michael Caines, owner of Glasgow’s Abode.

Natch, Scotland’s larder will be well represented in the Producers’ Village and some of our top chefs such as Brian Maule of the Chardon D’Or, Tony Borthwick of the Plumed Horse and Joe Queen, top dog at Minsky’s and Camerons at the Hilton in Glasgow, will be doing demos in the Love Food, Hate Waste Kitchen.
