They are all big lads and none of them are in the best shape but it would make for an interesting contest. The MasterChef young team might have the upper hand in terms of attitude but the Bikers are bikers and could be a bit tasty if it all kicked off.
As the Hairy Bikers second series of Mum Knows Best gets underway on BBC Two, there have been a couple of interesting articles about Si and Dave.
This one in The Telegraph celebrates the duo as champions of real food rather than the other TV chefs who sell an aspirational lifestyle.
This one in The Guardian gives them a thumbs-up but with gritted teeth.
The new series of MasterChef starts next Wednesday on BBC One at 9pm.
