Enjoyed this post on the Guardian’s Word of Mouth blog, about the traumas of sharing food brought on by recent trends for small plates like tapas.  We’ve all been in Cafe Andaluz or Berits and Brown with a gannet who clears the table in a feeding frenzy.  But don’t you fear being that gannet yourself?  I’ve had to categorise my friends and family into people I’ll share food with and people I won’t.  Luckily because I work at 5pm I can usually steer the decision on where we eat.

How do you steer this social mine field?
