"Scotland's Culinary Oscars" Shortlist Announced

The Scottish Restaurant Awards Did you vote for your favourite restaurant in this year’s Scottish Restaurant Awards? Well the shortlist has been announced and Tam Cowan will be hosting what has been described as “Scotland’s Culinary Oscars” at Glasgow’s Science Centre on Monday 28th February.

The ceremony awards outstanding creativity, customer service and top quality dining on offer throughout Scotland and restaurants were nominated by food fans across the country. The nominees have been visited anonymously by a team of prestigious judges and the winners will be announced on the 28th February.

Ronnie here at 5pm.co.uk, who run the awards with Business 7, says: “Each year, the judging process gets more and more difficult because restaurants across the country continue to raise their standards, offering delicious food and excellent service. The current climate has been difficult for restaurateurs, so these awards are more important than ever in celebrating and rewarding the industry’s hard work.”
