][1]Looking for a little foodie fun at the weekend? The Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret Distillery, Crieff is relaunching today after a £55k refurb of its tasting bar.
Part of the most visited distillery in the country, the new Taste Experience is keen to encourage visitors to try the new Snow Grouse blend which launches officially in the UK in April. A chill-filtered blend, it’s designed to be drunk very cold.
At the tasting bar, you’ll be able to compare and contrast the new blend, The Black Grouse and the original Famous Grouse.
Just as much fun is the 3D interactive show which takes visitors on a flight across Scotland, through the brand’s more famous TV adverts before finishing with a flying lesson on the Grouse.
The winter opening hours are from 10am – 5pm. The first tour leaves at 10.30am and the last tour at 3.00pm. Tour prices start from £7.50. Children under 12 go free.
